RECYCLED CHAIR NO.2

Recycled chair no.2 is a chair I designed from recyclable material people used to throw away. It consists of newspapers and a drop of strong ink for the pure color. The material is very strong because you wash it, so the glue loosens. As you pour it into a mold, the paper pulp dries up and so the glue does. When you've dried it, it has received considerable force through the thickness. You made it seatable.

What I wanted was to recycle something what we all throw away everyday in a different way. We all know that you can make new paper from old newspaper. People recycle it a lot. But I have never seen someone make furniture from it. So I thought it was a nice step in the right direction to give a new touch to old newspapers.

The frame is made from recycled metal pipes and the paper pulp material has a mold that you can click in the frame. When you lean back the metal frame will posture the way you sit.
